El Centro de las Américas, in partnership with the Asian Community & Cultural Center, Center for Legal Immigration Assistance (CLIA), and Lutheran Family Services, offers free citizenship classes to help prepare you for all parts of the citizenship interview including Reading, Writing, Civics, and the Form N-400 interview.

Our partners also offer free, legal help with filling out your citizenship application when you feel ready. You can apply at any time; during our 10 week class or after.

Classes meet in-person in Lincoln, NE and are also offered online for anyone pursing citizenship from anywhere in the United States.

GED classes are offered in Spanish for adults within the community ages 18 and up.

Our GED program shares advice and tools students need to be able to pass the exams. The study time is adjustable to the needs of the student and they always have the support of the teacher. We also offer mock exams that help prepare students.
